Cosmetology Academy

What is the Cosmetology Academy: In this interactive course, students will delve into the art of nail design, hairstyling, and makeup application. The program offers a thorough introduction to the essential tools and techniques in these beauty disciplines, emphasizing creativity, precision, and personal expression. By the end of the course, students will have developed a versatile skill set in nail art, hairstyling, and makeup, as well as a deep understanding of the techniques and tools needed to achieve stunning, professional results.

Cosmetology Academy Dates: June 23-25, 2026

Cosmetology Academy Times: 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Cosmetology Academy Grades: Students in grades 9-12 (current school year, 2025-2026)

Cosmetology Academy Location: Blackbird Elementary, Harbor Springs

Cosmetology Academy Cost: The cost for Cosmetology Academy is $100, which includes registration, a light snack each day and a T-shirt! Change from previous years: Lunch will not be provided. Please pack a lunch each day for your student(s). Light snack will be provided during the day.

Is transportation available?
Char-Em ISD will provide specific transportation routes at no additional charge. Look for transportation registration details during the online course registration process. (Note: transportation is not provided to Pellston High School.) Transportation routes are detailed in the online registration process.
