Public Safety Academy
What is the Public Safety Academy: Public Safety Academy will immerse kids in law enforcement, EMS, and firefighting careers in this one-of-a-kind camp! Join local police and emergency responders, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents, K-9 handlers, and Coast Guard staff – even learn to SCUBA dive. The three-day camp culminates in a real-life search-and-rescue operation on land.
*On the final day, students will be paired with a public safety official and join them in a real life search and rescue training exercise utilizing K-9, drones, a command center, state police, border patrol, fire department, and other emergency responders.
