Our Career Tech Ed department has been working on a new event that we believe will have significant impact on local students and our CTE programs. This event is designed for middle school students in grades 6-8 to have hands-on opportunities to explore CTE programs. Each district within Char-Em ISD will be able to select the grade level they wish to attend.

At the event, each CTE program (including instructors and a few of their students) will have a booth featuring a hands-on activity related to their program for the students to try. The students will rotate through the booths at their own pace during their designated time slot.

We hope this event will provide students valuable insight into CTE programs in our area, as well as the careers connected to these programs.
