National Manufacturing Day 

Held annually on the first Friday in October, Manufacturing Day helps show the reality of modern manufacturing careers by encouraging thousands of companies and educational institutions around the nation to open their doors to students, parents, teachers and community leaders. During the month of October, Char-Em ISD partners with the Northern Lakes Economic Alliance, regional chambers of commerce and manufacturers throughout Charlevoix and Emmet counties to bring students into the facilities to tour and learn about job opportunities right in their own back yard!
