College Applications
Now is the time to start completing college applications. Students can start applying for college as early as the summer before their senior year. Please be aware that some schools have specific application and scholarship deadlines; it’s best to check directly with your counselor, and the trade school, community college, or university to which you are applying.

Common App
Whether you’re applying to college for the first time or looking to complete your degree, Common App will help you reach new heights. Nearly 900 colleges and universities use Common App. Visit the Common App website. Colleges that use it in Michigan include:

Michigan College Month
Each October, Michigan College Month is part of the American College Application Campaign, a national initiative with the goal to provide every graduating high school senior the opportunity to apply to college and for financial aid. Special focus is placed on assisting students who would be the first in their families to attend college and students who may not have otherwise seriously considered applying to college.
