Post-Secondary Visits

Students are encouraged to visit various trade schools, community colleges and universities during their high school careers.

Char-Em ISD tours

Char-Em ISD Career and Technical Education Department staff coordinate a number of these visits each school year. Following are examples of typical annual college visits organized by Char-Em (note: this events have already taken place, and the flyers are for informational purposes only):

Student and school district tours

While Char-Em ISD offers several tours, so do local school districts. Students are encouraged to set up campus tours on their own at trade schools, community colleges and universities and/or to join local district tours. Typical locations of district-arranged tours in past years include:
